Reggae Music continues to Rock Davie

DAVIE – Jamaica Vintage Music Festival (JVMF) presents “The Love and Togetherness Concert” on Sunday February 10 at the Bergeron Rodeo Grounds in Davie Florida.

Scheduled to perform is the man from Rocky Point sweet, “Coco Tea”, and for the “Ladies”?, the brother that acknowledged your royalty Taurus “She’s Royal” Riley, along with musical director, Saxophone Great, “Mr. Dean Fraser”, Reggae Superstar & Balladeer Richie Stevens, the Lady of action “Nadine Sutherland”, Rock Steady Superstar, Mr. Smooth “Ken Booth” and on of the most exciting male vocal group from out of Jamaica, “Lust” featuring Luckie D, Thriller U, Singing Melody, and Tony Curtis.

For the gentlemen you will be in for a treat as the lovely female group “Ebony”; Vintage artist include the mega talented “Annette Brissette”; the spotlight now turns to a son of Clarendon Reggae Balladeer, “Michael Rustle”, plus South Florida’s’ hardest working band, “Code Red”.

In between acts, the audience will be entertained by veteran Selector, “Martel the Mixer”.

MC’S for this year’s event will be Ron Burke, John T, Lady English, and Sir Rockwell.

Thousands of patrons converged in Davie for the last JMVF in October, which featured the Skatalites, Stylistics, The Mighty Diamonds, Pat Kelly, Norma Fraser, Doreen Shafer, Lorna Bennett, Gem Myers, Ernie Smith, Charlie Chaplin, Fab Five, Brigadier Jerry and Little John.

The gates open at 2pm and the show is scheduled to start promptly at 4pm, tickets will go on sale, Monday January 7, 2008.
