Hosted by Eddy Edwards, Cleve Osborne and Jody-Ann Gray, the New format brings three experienced names in radio broadcasting together and promises innovative, humorous and interesting features targeting the rapidly growing and politically influential Caribbean community in the tri-county areas of Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach.
“We are excited about this new creative approach to a program with such longevity”, stated Eddy Edwards, who created the program back in 1984 and hosted it until he departed to WDNA FM last year to host a short lived Jazz program. “Our objective is to spark a renewed interest in Caribbean radio with a fresh and new approach and to utilize new technology to entertain and educate our listeners.”

With 10 years’ experience, Jody-Ann is expected to add a young perspective among the veterans.
The Caribbean Riddims show has been on-air since 1984 and has become a Saturday “must listen” for generations of Caribbean Migrants in South Florida as part of Caribbean Saturdays with Don Daly and Mike Andrews.
The New Caribbean Riddims will see various features that will attract new listeners and retain current fans. The show will maintain a few of the popular features such the Peoples Politics with Marlon Hill, Pandemonium and the Retro Revolution.
