Prazefest 2011 – Gospel Concert & Celebration Of Jamaica’s 49th Year Independence

Sunrise – FaithCity Entertainment is pleased to present their 2nd Annual Gospel Concert and celebration of Jamaica’s 49th Year Independence. The concert, PRAZEFEST 2011: Praise Him in Music and Dance will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2011 at 7 pm EST. The venue will be Faith Tabernacle UPCI located at 7100 W Oakland Park Blvd, Sunrise..

The first annual event was held on Friday, August 6th 2010 and it proved to be a success with over 400 people in attendance. With the success of last year’s celebration they anticipate an even greater turn out for PRAZEFEST 2011.

The purpose of PRAZEFEST 2011 is to unite both Christians and Non-Christians in celebration of the Independence of the beloved Island of Jamaica through Music and Dance while lifting up the name of Jesus Christ. Of course, there will be cultural selections throughout the entire show and Jamaican dishes will be featured. This will be an event that the entire family can be a part of!


2nd chance

PRAZEFEST 2011 will feature lively Caribbean gospel music and dance selections. Performing live will be Internationally renowned Marvia Providence with her crowd pleaser “Hear My Cry Oh Lord”, Jamaica Cultural Development Commission (JCDC) Gospel Competition 2004 Winner Minister Lubert Levy singing “Roll Jordan”, local sensation 2nd Chance with “MayPen Medley”.

Additional artists appearing will include Positive NRG, Nicole Salmon, and Peter Dean. A portion of the proceeds will go to a charity focusing on education in Jamaica.

Tickets are available online at www.prazefest.com or at local Caribbean ticket outlets. Tickets are on sale for $20 pre-sold, $25 at the door and children 6-12 $10. Doors open at 6 pm EST.
