North Miami – The City of North Miami administers various housing assistance programs which are made possible by federal and state funding sources.
In an effort to share these programs with the North Miami community, Mayor Andre D. Pierre is hosting a series of workshops on the programs that are currently available.

The next workshop will take place on Thursday, November 19, 2009 from 6-8 p.m. at Griffing Center, 12220 Griffing Boulevard, in North Miami.
This month’s workshop features the Homelessness Prevention and Rapid Re-Housing Program (HPRP), which is funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act 2009 (ARRA) in order to provide housing for homeless and at-risk households. The following activities are available through the HPRP: financial assistance, housing stability assistance and placement services. After an explanation of the program by North Miami’s Housing Division, there will be an open microphone session for residents to inquire further on the program.
