New Little Haiti Visitor Center Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony Set For May 18

The Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau In Partnership With Little Haiti Cultural Complex Unveils New Little Haiti Visitor Center 

MIAMI – With a growing number of locals and visitors seeking to experience and explore Greater Miami’s vibrant multicultural heritage neighborhoods, the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau’s (GMCVB) Multicultural Tourism Team, in partnership with the City of Miami and Little Haiti Cultural Complex will unveil the new Little Haiti Visitor Center with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The ribbon cutting ceremony is set for Monday, May 18, 2015, beginning at 10 a.m. and is free and open-to-the-public. The event will delight guests with musical entertainment, lite bites and refreshments. The Little Haiti Visitor Center located at 212 NE 59th Terrace Miami, FL 33137.

In addition to the GMCVB’s President & CEO William D. Talbert, III, CDME and Multicultural Tourism Team, representatives of The Little Haiti Cultural Complex, and elected Miami-Dade County and City of Miami officials are expected to be in attendance.

little_haiti_cultural_center500Centrally located in the heart of Little Haiti, the new visitor center will provide visitors and residents with a resource for information on the attractions and happenings in Little Haiti as well as other heritage and multicultural neighborhoods throughout Greater Miami.  Additionally, the new visitor center will offer a wide variety of brochures on attractions and points of interest, maps, calendars of events, tours and special offerings throughout the year.

The Little Haiti Visitor Center will be open Thursday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The visitor center adds to the GMCVB’s Multicultural Tourism efforts that include the Bureau’s “Its So Miami People & Places” campaign featuring an insider’s look at the vibrant diverse heritage neighborhoods found throughout our community.  Click image below to view the video campaign:
