PEMBROKE PINES – A South Florida based company, Caribcast Inc. has launched a subscription based television service offering customers anywhere in the world, Live Caribbean TV and Radio Programming 24 hours per day.
The service will be available to anyone who has high-speed internet access, a Caribcast set top box & a television set. Subscribers may also access the service via the Caribcast website (www.caribcast.tv).
The new service was developed to fulfill the needs and demand of the growing Caribbean Diaspora to be in touch with what’s happening in their native countries.
Packages to be offered include live television and radio stations representing a variety of news, sports, music, family, religious and educational programming. In addition, hundreds of hours of movies, cultural performances and other Caribbean programming will be available via Video on Demand and Pay per View.
Participating TV & Radio channels include, but are not limited to, TVJ, CVM, RETV, JNN, MTM, RJR, FAME FM (from Jamaica); Gayelle TV, CNC3, ieTV, Ebony 104 FM (From Trinidad & Tobago), Caribvision and CBC from Barbados and other channels from the Caribbean that reflect the diverse makeup of the Diaspora.
