Listen To The Call – Jamaica’s Music Fraternity Answers The Call To Help Haiti

KINGSTON, Jamaica – When Handel Tucker put out the call for some of Jamaican music’s top artistes and musicians to
participate in a song project for Haiti, they answered resoundingly.

The result is a powerful musical message to encourage and support the people of Haiti in their recovery from the latest attack on their survival and an inspirational call to action to all the people of the world.

From Jamaica to Haiti with love, this special musical gift is being made possible through the
kind contribution of over 30 of Jamaica’s top artistes collaborating on one song – unmatched
since “Rise Up” in 1998. An unprecedented number of Jamaica’s top artistes have already
committed their talents to the LISTEN TO THE CALL project including:

Appropriately titled “Listen to the Call”, the song was written by For Jamaica Inc co-founder
Raymond Azan and producer Handel Tucker and proceeds from sale of the song will be used to
assist the people of Haiti through Food For the Poor who have established vital food distribution
channels to survivors of the earthquake and maintain an ongoing operation in the impoverished
nation.

The song’s publishing proceeds will be used to fund For Jamaica’s mission to upgrade the bedding facilities at shelters and orphanages throughout Jamaica.

For producer Handel Tucker who also co-produced “Rise Up”, “this song “Listen to the Call” is
produced in solidarity with the people of Haiti and all over the world who need help. The goal is
to inspire people around the world to extend a helping hand to those in need and “Listen to the
Call”.

The Kingston recording sessions are being produced at Tuff Gong, Harry J and Mixing Lab
studios. The song will premiere globally in a simultaneous broadcast on Tuesday, February 16,
2010 at 4:53pm Haiti time to commemorate the loss of lives when the 7.0 earthquake hit.
