Job & Business Expo Targets Caribbean Community

MIAMI – South Florida’s Caribbean job seekers and small business-owners, will get a rare opportunity to come face to face with some of the country’s leading companies & government agencies, seeking to hire as well as develop business partnerships with Caribbean professionals at The 2006 Florida Diversity Job & Trade Expo.

The Expo will be taking place on Thursday, February 9, 2006 from 9am to 3pm at The James L. Knight Center (Located inside the Hyatt Regency-Miami) 400 S.E. 2nd Avenue, in Downtown Miami in Riverfront Hall A and B.

Usually, job seekers and small business-owners are the ones tracking down the large corporations and government agencies for opportunities. However, at The Florida Diversity Job & Trade Expo, top corporations and government agencies will be actively interviewing Caribbean professionals and business-owners, in an effort to develop lucrative business partnerships and professional employment relationships, representing a wide-variety of fields.

Some of the major corporations, and government agencies that will be on-site at The FDJ&T Expo, seeking business partnership and Caribbean professionals to hire includes: Miami International Airport, FedEx, Home Depot, JCPenney’s, CVS Pharmacy, Office Depot, Lowe’s Home Improvement, Winn Dixie, Broward Community College, The Florida Lottery, The South Florida Water Management District, Burger King Franchise Division, Jackson Memorial Hospital, North Broward Hospital District and Enterprise Rent-A-Car, to name a few.
