Jamaica’s Minister of Tourism and Entertainment Visited by Newly Appointed United States Ambassador

KINGSTON, JAMAICA  – On Wednesday, January 14, 2015 Jamaica’s Minister of Tourism and Entertainment, the Hon. Dr. Wykeham McNeill received a visit from the newly appointed United States Ambassador to Jamaica, His Excellency Luis G. Moreno.

Among the issues discussed were efforts by Jamaica to further tap into traditional tourism source markets such as the US, airlift out of North America, as well as new and emerging markets. The United States continues to be one of Jamaica’s major markets for stopover arrivals along with Canada and the United Kingdom/Europe.
