HOLLYWOOD – The online ballot box was opened as Jamaicans.com announced their annual BEST OF JAMAICA WORLDWIDE 2007 survey on Tuesday, August 14. Everyone can now cast their vote for the 2007 BEST OF JAMAICA WORLDWIDE.
Jamaicans.com has successfully conducted an annual “Best of Jamaica” polling with a tremendous response from online visitors globally. This highly anticipated survey in its ninth year had over 500 respondents in 2006. Jamaicans and visitors alike will have the opportunity to vote on the “Best of Jamaica” including the best in Jamaican food, accommodations, and the arts. One fortunate participant will have the wonderful opportunity to win a three night hotel stay for two in Jamaica.
This survey acknowledges and celebrates Jamaicans and their culture in Jamaica and beyond the island’s shores. Online visitors to the website are encouraged to vote for major cities across the U.S.A., Canada and Europe where there is a strong presence of Jamaican nationals. Survey questions range from ‘The Best Tourist Attraction in Jamaica’ to ‘The Best Jamaican restaurant in London, England.’
“We are amazed at the popularity of the survey,” said Website owner and Operator, Xavier Murphy. “We continue to receive positive feedback from visitors to the site each year.”
He admits that he I humbled by the daily emails from around the world telling him that Jamaicans.com, is great resource for finding information on Jamaica.

Polling commenced on August 1, 2007 and will conclude on September 15, 2007. Results of the “Best of Jamaican 2007” will be published November 1, 2007 on Jamaicans.com.
Polling Guidelines
Jamaicans.com visitors living in Jamaica as well as in world renowned cities boasting a strong Jamaican presence are eligible to vote only once in each category. These prominent cities include: Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Washington DC, Hartford, Los Angeles, London, Miami/Fort Lauderdale, New Jersey, New York, Philadelphia, and Toronto.
Voting remains open until September 15, 2007. Results of our “Best of Jamaica 2007” will be published, November 1, 2007 on Jamaicans.com.
