Jamaican Diaspora Southern U.S. to host third informational meeting

MIAMI – The Jamaican Diaspora Southern USA will host an informational meeting on Thursday, November 16, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., in West Palm Beach at Caribbean Choice Bakery & Restaurant, 2845 North Military Trail, West Palm Beach.

A third in a series of outreach and awareness efforts, the purpose of the meeting is to continue further education of the public about the Jamaican Diaspora Movement and to discuss and upcoming goals to further develop the Jamaican Diaspora here in the Southern USA.

This upcoming meeting is intended to connect with the many Jamaicans residing in the communities of Belle Glade, West Palm Beach, Wellington, Royal Palm Beach, Stuart, Port St. Lucie, and Palm Bay and to hear more about their interests, needs, and challenges in those respective communities.

All are invited to attend the meeting.

The meeting will be chaired by attorney, Marlon Hill, the newly appointed Jamaican Diaspora Advisory Board representative for the Southern USA.
