Jamaican Comedy Play, Pupalick has an Experienced, Talented and Energetic cast

CORAL SPRINGS – When the cast of Jamaica 2 Rahtid – Pupalick, makes their two Florida appearances – at the Wakeiva High School in Orlando on Saturday, March 14 and Coral Springs Center for the Arts on Sunday, March 15 – they will bring with them a combination of solid acting experience and young exuberance which will be exhibited on stage.

They will also be riding high on the fact that the production was recently nominated for eleven Actor Boy Awards, announced on Monday, March 9, in Jamaica.

Led by the experienced and talented Christopher Daley, who recently made an indelible impression at “Love is a Funny Little Thing” on Valentine’s Day in Miramar, Florida, the high-energy and fun-filled “Pupalick” will provide lots of laughter and plenty ‘bangarang’ for every member of the family. Jamaican television audiences know Christopher as a ‘child star’ from his memorable portrayal of “Johnny” in the JBC TV mini series, “Lime Tree Lane” 20 years ago. Christopher also appeared in the ABC’s mini series “Going to Extremes”. Christopher’s theatre credits include Sealey’s “One of our sons is missing”, “Nightbox”, “Jamaica Run Down”, “Jamaica Pepperpot”, “Yard 99”, “Christopher Come Buck Us” and “Country Duppy”. In 1999, Christopher copped the Jamaica Actor Boy award for his performance in Oliver Mair’s “Dis Ting”. Christopher is an original J2R posse member.

In 2007, Dahlia Harris walked away with the Actor Boy Award for Best Actress in a leading role for her brilliant portrayal of Patsy in Cooke’s Concubine. The popular television sportscaster, has become a favourite with theatre audience ever since she performed in Children Children in 2000. Since then Dahlia has performed in Oliver Posse, Ras Noah and the Hawk, JMTC’s Bubbling Brown Sugar. Dahlia has also appeared in Aston Cooke’s Kiss Mi Neck, Country Duppy and Jamaica 2 Rahtid.


As a student of Acting at the Faculty of Drama at the (Edna Manley College) Christopher McFarlane was nominated for an Actor Boy Award for his performance in Dennis Scott’s An Echo in the Bone. Christopher subsequently received another nomination for Supporting Actor in Basil Dawkins No Disrespect. He finally won the Actor Boy award for Best Actor in a supporting role for his performance in Basil Dawkins’ Who God Bless. His other acting credits include roles in Against His Will, Jamaica 2 Rahtid, Country Duppy and Crazy Landlord.

Everaldo Creary recently completed two feature films where he played leading roles; Candy Shop and Better Must Come. The 2005 recipient of the Prime Minister’s Youth Award for Arts and Culture, Everaldo is a founding member of the Dub Poetry ensemble “NO-MADDZ” and a member of the Jamaica Youth Theatre. Everaldo played the lead role in Trevor Rhone’s latest drama “Positive” and was also seen in Orville Hall’s Below the Waist.

Zandriann Maye is the latest performer to join the JAMAICA 2 RAHTID series crew. Zandriann came in from her brilliant performance in Basil Dawkins’ “Hot Spot” and brings her effervescent trademark personality to this production. She attended the Edna Manley College of Visual and Performing Arts. She is a former member of the Ashé Ensemble. Her work in theatre includes drama in education and therapy.
