Islands Of The Bahamas To Host Its Own U.S. Talk Radio Show

Islands Of The Bahamas Talk Radio“The SCOOP on The BAHAMAS” weekly Radio Talk Show to hit U.S. airwaves

FORT LAUDERDALE – The Islands Of The Bahamas have unveiled plans to host its very own Talk Radio Show, “The SCOOP on The BAHAMAS” on the JVC Broadcasting 900 AM The Talk Palm Beaches radio station out of West Palm Beach, Florida.  The weekly broadcasts starts September 24th with airings on Thursday’s between 4:30 p.m and 5:00 p.m. The show will also be rebroadcast on 103.9 News Radio New York.

The half hour weekly talk show which will be hosted by Jeannie Gibson and Earnestine Moxyz, Managers in The Bahamas Ministry of Tourism’s Communications Department, will provide the opportunity to share updates in The Islands Of The Bahamas including new hotels, new activities, new airlift, Heritage Festivals and other signature events on the Islands.

Sporting events featured will include, the International Association of Athletics Federation (IAAF); the upcoming Tiger Wood’s PGA Hero World Challenge in December, the Popeyes Bahamas Bowl, also in Nassau, Bahamas and the annual Bahamas Marathon that takes place annually in January. The Ministry of Tourism’s vertical market events such as the Boating and Fishing Tournaments; important frontier formalities as they relate to boaters and private planes; Bahamian personalities and much more will also be discussed.

“The show will provide us with a unique opportunity to showcase the multiplicity of the Islands Of The Bahamas. It will also serve as a publicity and marketing vehicle to further highlight the current and future marketing initiatives of the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism and its industry partners to consumers in our key markets,” said Mia Weech- Lange, Sr. Director of Global Communications, BMOT.
