North Miami – North Miami Mayor Andre D. Pierre, in partnership with the Haitian Lawyers Association and Legal Services of Greater Miami, will host a foreclosure defense seminar on Thursday, December 3, 2009 from 6 – 8 p.m. at the Gwen Margolis Community Center, 1590 NE 123 ST.
The seminar is free and open to the public. It will cover an overview of the foreclosure process and preventative measures that homeowners can take prior to heading into foreclosure. Mayor Pierre’s colleagues from the Haitian Lawyers Association will be available to answer questions on foreclosure and to advise homeowners on their unique situations as needed.
