Now is the time to rethink emergency care
Broward County – Florida Medical Center is transforming healthcare delivery with the development of its satellite Emergency Care Center in Broward County.
Located just south of I-595 and west of Nob Hill Road in Davie, the Emergency Care Center will be open 24 hours, seven days a week and offers the same capabilities as a traditional emergency room. It will be equipped and staffed to treat emergent medical conditions, such as lacerations, orthopedic and sports injuries, dehydration, abdominal pain, respiratory problems, head injuries and more. Patients will have access to the same board certified doctors and medical staff at Florida Medical Center, with access to industry leading specialty physicians.

“Our new, neighborhood-style center will allow residents of Davie and surrounding communities to receive high quality, around-the-clock care close to home,” said Gabrielle Finley-Hazle, CEO of Florida Medical Center. “We are proud to soon offer a fast and convenient place to go when faced with an emergency.”
The 13,626-square-foot Emergency Care Center will house 11 treatment rooms on the first floor and will also be equipped with advanced imaging technology, such as a state-of-the-art low-dose 128 slice CT scanner, ultrasound and X-ray equipment. The second floor of the building will house the Imaging Center of West Broward, an expansion of the facility in Sunrise, which will offer CAT scans and coronary computed tomography angiograms (CTAs).
In addition, the center will offer high level healthcare services, including:
- Adult and Acute Pediatric Care
- CT Scan, X-Ray and Ultrasound Imaging
- Clinical Laboratory Services
- Clinical Pharmacy Services
- Respiratory Care
- Ambulance Access
- Walk-in Stroke and Chest Pain Care
The Emergency Care Center will be located at 10230 W. State Road 84, Davie, Florida, 33324. For more information, please visit ERcare247.com.
