MIRAMAR – To expedite assistance to residents hoping to preserve homeownership and prevent foreclosure, the City of Miramar has obtained the services of Housing Foundation of America, Inc., a not-for profit HUD approved (501c) housing counseling service. The City is hopeful that by providing this benefit, residents will receive timely assistance to fulfill their immediate needs regarding any housing issues they may face.
The services offered include foreclosure prevention counseling, pre-purchase and post-purchase counseling, fair housing assistance, reverse mortgage counseling, and assistance with budgeting. Miramar residents can call to set up one-on-one scheduled counseling appointments, weekdays at the Miramar Multi-Service Complex.
