Ft. Lauderdale – This year, First Fridays of Florida will host the Flashback Night Press Conference & Welcome Party, featuring Shabba Ranks & Tiger, on Friday July 1st at The Grand Palms Resort & Hotel. Between 8pm & 10pm an overview of the Flashback Night Concert will be presented by spokesperson C-Roy the Entertainer followed by a short video, after which Grammy Award Winning Artist Shabba Ranks & Reggae Super Star Tiger will be available for interviews, autographs and photo opportunities.
Food and beverage for the press conference will be provided by Barbican Square, one of South Florida’s leading Caribbean restaurants.
All one-on-one interviews must be requested via the media application below. Media outlets will also have the opportunity to register for passes to the Flashback Night Concert taking place on Sat. July 2nd.
Following the press conference, First Fridays of Florida will immediately kick-off the Welcome Party for Shabba Ranks and Tiger. Patrons will be able to purchase tickets to Flashback Night during the First Fridays event. The First Fridays monthly event consistently attracts hundreds of South Florida’s most professional and eclectic individuals and is known for featuring some of South Florida’s best DJ’s.
This July’s First Fridays event will feature music by DJs Radcliffe and Jazzy T in the Party Zone with current hits and oldies from the Top 40, R&B, Reggae and other popular music genres while DJ Dorenzo in the Island Lounge will be spinning Dance Hall, Soca, Reggeton and other Caribbean music genres. Additionally, the First Fridays Café will feature food from Dino’s Jerk Joint & Wards Seafood Bar.
