Fathers of reggae, The Original Wailers to perform in South Florida

DELRAY BEACH – The Wailers helped Bob Marley to obtain his great success and today, three legendary Wailers have reformed to create a new, tighter band, The Original Wailers. Their music gave a voice to the day-to-day struggles of the Jamaican experience, vividly capturing not
only the plight of the country’s impoverished and oppressed but also the devout spirituality that remains their source of strength.

The Original Wailers featuring Keyboardist Earl “Wya” Lindo, who joined along with Peter Tosh and Bunny Wailer; Guitarist Al Anderson, who also played with Peter Tosh, James Brown, Traffic and Ben Harper; and Lead Vocalist/Guitarist Junior Marvin, who often sang alongside Marley.

Junior appeared in the ’70s and played on Exodus, which Time Magazine voted “Best Album Of The 20th Century.” Junior also has played with Ike & Tina Turner, Steve Winwood, Stevie Wonder, Toots & The Maytals and recently with Oar. Junior, Al and Wya toured and recorded with Marley until his death.

Catch these Fathers of Reggae and don’t miss out on this unique opportunity to find the true spirit of “One Love” again during this live performance at City Limits (19 NE Third
Avenue, Delray Beach) on Thursday, March 19th doors open at 7pm and the night will be
