Faith tourism conference returns to St. Lucia

NEW JERSEY – Award-winning journalist and international faith tourism advocate Andria Hall, president of SpeakEasy M.E.D.I.A., will bring The Walk: Sanctuary for the Soul faith tourism conference back to the Caribbean island nation of St. Lucia, from June 21 through June 24, 2007.

For the second time in as many years, Hall, a former CNN news anchor, will host a retreat for women to refresh and renew their spirits. The seminar is an invitation for all women who are challenged by managing the multi-facets of life in the 21st century, such as family, finances, career and marriage. The conference will offer practical ways to achieve work-life balance through The Word of God.

To be held at Coco Resorts, two boutique hotels in Rodney Bay Village, the event is an empowerment opportunity for women of faith, offering a wealth of interactive workshops designed to rejuvenate and inspire participants. Women will benefit from powerful guest speakers, talk-show style sessions, money management workshops, biblical aromatherapy and a gospel concert. The event ends with a Sunday prayer vigil on the beach.

The public gospel concert, one of the highlights of the retreat, will incorporate several performers, including repeat guests Carl Jenkins and X’ALTATION, who inspired last year’s gathering. Theirs and other uplifting sounds are promised to fill the hearts of those in attendance.

The Walk: Sanctuary for the Soul is at the forefront of the global faith-based tourism industry. It promises to bring practical insight and Biblical balance to the lives of the women.

Sponsors and supporters include Air Jamaica, Coco Resorts, and the St. Lucia Tourist Board.
