MIRAMAR – Feel The Spirit of the Caribbean as entrepreneur and community leader, kicks off National Caribbean-American Heritage Month with another fantastic showcase, “Expressions” Caribbean-American Exhibition and Festival. We know that when Elizabeth Burns puts on an event it will be filled with great excitement, Fun and many business opportunities.

“Expressions” Caribbean-American Exhibition and Festival will be held on Saturday, June 6th from 1pm-8pm at the Miramar Cultural Center, 2400 Civic Center Place,  Miramar.  Admission for adults is $10 and kids are free.

“Expressions” Caribbean-American Exhibition and Festival represents a fusion of Caribbean and American Businesses and mobilizes and brings together people of varying backgrounds, ethnicities and cultures. It also creates more awareness and serves to promote Jamaican / Caribbean / American Businesses, with special emphasis on small businesses.

Businesses showcasing are: Healthcare; Wellness; Beauty; Caribbean Art; Craft; Finance; Insurance; Legal; Real Estate; Media; Shipping, Chambers of Commerce, Travel & Tourism and many other service providers.  In addition there will be several speakers and presenters from different business sectors.

Patrons will enjoy great cultural entertainment

Music will be provided by DJ’s Mark Swaby & Tony Owens, Hal Anthony-International Singer & Performer, Drumming Fingers Cultural Dance Group, Soleil Rowe & many other Musicians.  There will also be Cultural Dancers, Fashion / Culture Corner, Fun Zone-including Limbo & Hoola Hoop contest and other activities for the entire family.
