As part of Jamaican Consul General R. Oliver Mair’s Distinguished Lecture Series, Island SPACE Caribbean Museum will host an insightful lecture presented by award-winning, acclaimed playwright and actor Debra Erhardt.

On the Heels of Her Broward Center Performance

Her presentation for the Consul General’s Lecture Series at Island SPACE Caribbean Museum will come on the heels of Erhardt’s Saturday, March 16 performance of her current play, Look What Fell Out de Mango Tree, at the Broward Center for the performing Arts.

Debra Ehrhardt produced her first award-winning play, Mango Mango, and Invisible Chairs, which was later produced by David Strasberg, at the Marilyn Monroe theatre in West Hollywood, and later optioned it as a situation comedy by Fox. Since then, she has written and performed multiple scripts, with at least two optioned by major Hollywood film producers.

A member of the Writer’s Guild of America, Ehrhardt is currently touring, Look What Fell Out de Mango Tree, across the United States.
