St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands – Divi Carina Bay Resort & Casino, one of St. Croix’s top resorts, is pleased to announce that fifty new guestrooms and an on-site spa opened in early June 2005. The resort’s dive center is also under new management and now offers scuba diving from the beach.
The fifty guestrooms are located in a new four-story building and feature all oceanfront views, a king or double/queen beds and the same wealth of amenities as the resort’s other guestrooms including a balcony or patio and in-room high speed internet access. Divi Carina Bay has also announced that it has partnered with Cane Bay Dive Shop, one of St. Croix’s premier dive centers, to manage its dive center. The PADI 5-Star IDC center will continue to offer the same features that it has since opening in 2003, but now it will also offer scuba diving classes and certifications on-site and diving right from the resort’s South Shore beach, with dive boats departing daily.
