Delta Awards Ground Team at Sangster International Airport Station of the Year
Montego Bay, Jamaica – Delta Air Line’s ground team at Sangster International Airport (SIA) was awarded with Station of the Year for the second year running in 2016.
Delta lauded its Montego Bay ground handlers in recognition of safety, customer service, operations and financial initiatives. MBJ was recognized from a pool of airports Delta serves in more than 200 destinations globally.
“We are proud of this accolade, awarded by one of the world’s leading airlines to its local team on the ground for the second year in a row,” commented CEO of SIA operator MBJ Airports, Rafael Echevarne. “The teamwork and professionalism demonstrated by AJAS representatives on behalf of Delta Air Lines reinforces Sangster International Airport’s leadership in the region and contributes to the competitiveness and allure of Jamaica as an increasingly popular destination,” Echevarne added.
