Cricket Council USA Chairman Resigns

FT. LAUDERDALE – President Bill Clinton once said, “The price of doing the same old thing is far higher than the price of change.” It is after much contemplation and reflection, the Chairman and CEO of Cricket Council USA (CCUSA) Mohammad A. Qureshi announced his resignation after holding the post for ten years. Under the leadership of Mr. Qureshi, Cricket Council USA, a sports and entertainment management company, has taken the sport of cricket to a higher, more professional level in the U.S. – through sponsorship and executing highly successful sports tournaments.

“Mohammad has made many invaluable contributions to the sport and we wish him continued success. Hopefully his new endeavors will still include further development to the sport of cricket in America,” says Jeff Miller, Cricket Council USA Vice President of Operations. Mr. Qureshi, although moving on hopes that his efforts have in fact made an impact on his beloved sport – cricket. He also believes that change can keep a person’s ideas fresh and innovative for future cutting-edge progress.
