Leaders by Empowerment-Activists by Development (L.E.A.D. Nation), in partnership with the Knight Foundation, is pleased to announce the 4th Annual South Florida Youth Summit (SFYS) featuring Congressman John Lewis.
MIAMI – Civil Rights Legend and Congressman John Lewis among prominent leaders scheduled to take part in line-up of interactive seminars, workshops and panel discussions for South Florida students at the 4th Annual South Florida Youth Summit.
This year, L.E.A.D. Nation, Inc. celebrates 10 years of service to youth and families and culminates the 4th Annual South Florida Youth Summit by paying homage to its distinguished founders and leaders in the South Florida community, April 22-24.
The Summit will kick-off on Friday, April 22nd. Civil Rights Legend and Congressman John Lewis, Founder of Honey Shine, Inc. Tracy Wilson Mourning, and Executive Director of the Dream Defenders Umi Selah, will lead the When Generations Meet interactive panel discussion hosted by WPLG’s Constance Jones.
The event starts at 6:30 P.M., at Broward Community College – Performing Arts Theater, 7200 Pines Blvd., Pembroke Pines, FL 33024 – and is free of charge.
