Celebration of Life Services for Jamaica’s Ambassador Hon. Dudley Thompson, OJ, QC

MIAMI GARDENS – On Sunday, April 22nd the South Florida Community will be Celebrating the Life of Jamaica’s Ambassador Hon. Dudley Thompson, OJ, QC on Sunday, April 22nd at The Holy Family Episcopal Church located at 18501 NW 7th Ave. in Miami Gardens. Services will be held from 12:30-2pm.

Ambassador Thompson passed away on January 20, 2012 a day after celebrating his 95th birthday.

Tributes will be given by, Dr. Leonard Jeffries, World Africa Diaspora Union (WADU), Hon. Sandra Grant-Griffiths – Consul General of Jamaica, Dr. Margaret Cezaire-Thompson – Daughter, Dr. Robert Vassall (Akomfo Kwadjo) – Friend, and Jabulani with a Video Presentation “Life of a Legend”.

Musical tributes by Tallawah Mento Band, Jamaica Folk Review, Master Drummer Eric Gore (Ivory Coast) and African Dancers.

Refreshments will be served.
