Fort Lauderdale – CaribbeanWeddings.com®, the largest site on the Web devoted exclusively to developing wedding and honeymoon business for hotels in the Caribbean, announced that 8 Wyndham resorts have signed up to include their hotel information and their wedding and honeymoon packages on the site.
The participating hotels are the Viva Wyndham Fortuna Beach on Grand Bahama Island, the Viva Wyndham Azteca and the Viva Wyndham Maya in Cancun, and the following hotels in the Dominican Republic: Viva Wyndham Dominicus Beach, Viva Wyndham Dominicus Palace, Viva Wyndham Playa Dorada, Viva Wyndham Samana, and Viva Wyndham Tangerine.
According to Roberta Backus Turner, who developed the site, “the site was launched in 2000 but only started aggressively soliciting hotels to participate on the site this year. We continue to be delighted with the positive response from the hotels in the Caribbean and will load their information onto the site as quickly as they sign up.”
CaribbeanWeddings.com® provides information about resorts, the legal requirements to get married on the various Caribbean islands, as well as information about the destinations, where to stay, what to do, and photography of the destinations.
Historically, nearly 500,000 brides have visited the site annually and their wedding and/or honeymoon information is then provided to participating hotels to close on the business.
The cost for a hotel to have its packages listed on the site is a fraction of the cost of one ad in any of the popular brides or travel publications, yet the site is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
