Caribbean Style invades Westfield Mall, Broward as we close out Caribbean American Heritage Month 2014 – June 23rd to June 29th

Plantation – South Florida comes alive with rich Caribbean culture during the month of June and during the last week, Westfield Broward will be home to the first annual Caribbean Style Week in South Florida.

Caribbean Style Week seeks to promote and highlight Caribbean fashion and its designers during Caribbean American Heritage Month. The weeklong event kicks off on Monday June 23rd and will feature the designers in specialty pop up stores throughout the Westfield footprint. Shoppers will be able to purchase these popular Caribbean fashion labels and engage with some of the actual minds behind the brands.

Caribbean Style Week will also produce a number of runway fashion shows on Saturday June 28th and Sunday June 29th, and will share the stage with live Caribbean entertainment, celebrity guests, and cultural performances, as we close out the month long celebrations and activities.

“With our unique location in Central Broward and close proximity to several hotels, International Airport and Cruise Port, Westfield Broward has evolved into a retail locale where a multitude of cultures organically converge – the NEW Westfield Broward is creating a venue where the communal engagement of hanging out with family and friends from various cultures in a fun and safe environment that incorporates important family functions alongside quality retail stores is embraced and promoted – and what better way to celebrate culture than by partnering with various entities in the Caribbean community during Caribbean American Heritage month.” states Andrew Martineau, Director of Marketing – Westfield Broward.
