Caribbean Americas Soccer Association (CASA) & The City of Lauderhill presents: Youth Soccer Classic December 16-18

LAUDERDHILL – The Caribbean Americas Soccer Association (CASA) along with The City of Lauderhill will be hosting a Youth Soccer Classic event for the 2011 Fall Soccer Season December 16- 18 at the Lauderhill Sports Park, 7500 W. Oakland Park Blvd in Lauderhill.

The Youth Soccer Classic program further supports CASA’s mission of exposing talents to Coaches/ Scouts, thus, proving a one stop shop for soccer talent. This ‘open’ soccer event will offer Coaches/Scouts from all over the Caribbean and the Americas to evaluate players and their talents. This tournament is open to boys ages 15-18 years old.

This event is in a tournament format and will give teams competitive games, while giving them an opportunity to impress the Coaches/Scouts. The outstanding play and the sportsmanship that characterize outstanding soccer will provide plenty of enjoyment for the players and fans alike. CASA plans to make this tournament one you will enjoy and be proud to attend.

Special international guests at this year’s event will be the Inter-Secondary Schools Sports Association – ISSA (representing high school teams from Jamaica), Barbados, Haiti, Trinidad & Tobago, local South Florida teams and more.

The duration of each game will be 35 minutes each half with 10 minute break. The final will be 40 minutes each half and 10 minutes over time and penalty kicks to decide the winner in case of a tie. Each team should have two sets of uniforms to avoid conflict in colors.

Players will be vying for the CASA Youth Classic Cup and college scholarships. Various college coaches will be on hand to view and scout talents.
