Caribbean Airlines Prepare for Christmas and Carnival Seasons

TRINIDAD – Caribbean Airlines will be adding additional flights throughout its network to respond to higher demand and accommodate passengers traveling during the peak Christmas and Carnival seasons.

Flights will be added on all North American routes as well as Kingston, Jamaica. Two flights a week will be added to the normal New York schedule resulting in 13 flights a week while Toronto frequencies increase to 10 a week with the addition of two additional services per week. Toronto flights will be serviced by usual two class configuration aircraft while the extra New York services will operate in an all economy configuration.

Caribbean Airlines will also add new non-stop flights from Port-of-Spain to Kingston before and after Christmas and Carnival giving customers more choice and options during these seasons. These non-stop services will complement the daily scheduled flights to Kingston. Additional non-stop services will be added before and after Christmas and Carnival on the very popular Miami route.

“Caribbean Airlines has anticipated the travel needs of our customers during these peak travel periods and we have tailored our flight schedule to offer additional services to facilitate convenient and effortless movement throughout our network.” stated Director Network Management, Dayanand Birju.

“Early indications already show that both Christmas 2007 and Carnival 2008 will be very busy periods for travel. By proactively planning and adding this incremental capacity, Caribbean Airlines is ensuring that all travelers can benefit from its superior service and will allow everyone to join in the festivities at their preferred location”, added Birju.
