Kingston, Jamaica – On 16 November Caribbean Airlines officially opened its doors in Kingston, Jamaica at a brand new City Ticket Office at 7 Trafalgar Road, Kingston 5.
The airline’s slogan “One Vision, One Caribbean, One Airline” was alive at the opening of the state of the art ticket office, which was opened in a record two months, as both Caribbean Airlines and Air Jamaica staff worked tirelessly to ensure the office would be ready to receive customers in time for the traditional Christmas peak.
The office, which boasts of having a functional kiosk for those not able to have access to the internet at home, will be opened weekdays from 7.30am to 5.30pm and on Saturdays from 10.00am until 4.00pm.

Minister of Tourism in Jamaica the honourable Edmund Bartlett was on hand for a short ribbon cutting ceremony at the new Caribbean Airlines ticket office.
“The opening of this joint ticket office represents a significant moment in time; the start of a partnership that will play a major role in the development of the region’s tourism industry,” said the Tourism Minister in his speech.
Addressing the Caribbean Airlines staff, the Minister added “it is therefore with great pleasure that I am here today to see this joint venture between Air Jamaica and Caribbean Airlines in the opening of what is indeed a symbol of your partnership, a new ticket office.
This new venture can only serve to strengthen the region and its regional tourism product” The Minister was joined by the airline’s management including Vice President Commercial and Customer Experience Robert Corbie, Senior Manager Commercial Sue Rosen, Senior Manager Sales William Rogers, Manager North Caribbean Teena Henry and Head of Corporate Communications Laura Asbjornsen. Mark Greenswood had the honour of being the fist customer to purchase tickets at the new city ticket office. “I came into the new office because I had to pay for tickets for my grandfather to go to Philadelphia,” said Mr. Greenswood as he posed with his Caribbean Airlines memorabilia.
