MIAMI – A multi denominational candlelight vigil and march will be held in Little Haiti in memory of the souls who died on Wednesday, May 13th 2009 trying to reach the shores of the United States from Haiti starting at 7pm on Monday, May 18.
Participants will gather at Notre Dame d’ Haiti church 130 NE 62nd St. in Miami for prayer service and then march with candles from the church south on NE 2nd Avenue, west on NW 54 Street, north on North Miami Avenue, ending at Toussaint Louverture park on the corner of North Miami Avenue and 62nd street.
