British Airways to begin weekly schedule flight to St. Kitts

BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – British Airways is to begin scheduled flight into St. Kitts’ Robert L. Bradshaw International Airport.

The full service global airline has announced it will begin weekly flights from Gatwick on Saturday January 10th 2009.

“British Airways’ position as the airline with more flights to the Caribbean than any other UK carrier is further strengthened by the addition of St. Kitts to the network.

Head of Leisure Sales, Adam Daniels said: “This new route to St. Kitts underlines our commitment both to the Caribbean and Gatwick and re-establishes a connection between the UK and the island.”

“The introduction of St. Kitts as a British Airways route means that we now operate to 11 destinations in the Caribbean. The region is performing extremely well for us. Our customers also tell us that they feel secure flying with an airline with an established heritage and longevity in the market in these turbulent times.”
