NORTH MIAMI – On Monday, April 26, 2010 at 9:30 a.m. Congressman Kendrick B. Meek
will be hosting a procurement briefing on “How to do business with USAID” at FIU BBC Wolfe Theatre
3000 NE 151 St., in North Miami.
USAID will provide an update on its relief efforts in Haiti, present an overview of its procurement process as well as discuss how small and medium enterprises or NGOs can be integral to the rebuilding process.
Meeks encourages interested persons to come and listen to how your business can assist USAID as it interacts with the Haitian contracting community. Additionally, they will address those who are interested in procurement related to the Haitian relief efforts.
