Bahamas Junakoo Band performed at the Broward County Library Destination Fridays program on Friday, November 6th.
A “Taste of The Bahamas Reception and Art Exhibition,” featuring artifacts of the late Esther Rolle, noted Bahamian actor on November 6, 2015.
The Reception and Art Exhibition featured appetizers, signature Bahamian drinks, a special presentation by Arlene Nash-Ferguson, Director of Culture and Heritage for the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism and a full Junkanoo Rush-out, complete with vibrantly colored costumed junkanooers dancing to the pulsating sounds of goat-skinned drums, cowbells, whistles and horns.
