Miya Marcano

Miya Marcano

[ORLANDO] – It has been one week since the disappearance of Miya Marcano and the family is absolutely devastated. The parents of Miya have been working tirelessly day and night searching for their 19-year-old college student who lived and worked at the Arden Villas, an apartment complex utilized for student housing. At this time, police are working diligently around the clock to locate Miya and have been joined in its search by the FBI to assist with the ongoing investigation.

National civil rights and personal injury attorney Daryl K. Washington who is the attorney for the family will address the media on a future date but in the meantime asks the public to respect the family’s privacy during this difficult time. Miya’s family and Attorney Washington believe more safeguards should have been in place to prevent the unauthorized entry into Miya’s apartment which led to her disappearance.
