Anguilla Tourist Board launches new web-site

NEW YORK – The Anguilla Tourist Board has launched its new website www.anguilla-vacation.com.

Designed to capture and communicate the essence of authentic Anguilla, the new site tells the story of the unique Anguilla experience and highlights the destination’s offerings to travelers. From history, culture and every activity under the sun, to delectable tableside…and roadside dining, along with accommodations to fit all budgets and all tastes, the site offers a one-stop platform for the perfect Anguilla vacation.

The new website’s navigation is simplified and audience focused for intuitive access to information. Fluid content and imagery combine to entice the visitor through the site, while unique call-outs reveal Anguilla’s personality.

The site’s primary navigation is segmented into three sections: The Island, The Activities and The Accommodations. As visitors navigate through the site, sidebar anecdotes introduce them to the experiences that set the destination apart and provide the perfect holiday.

To showcase the visual wonders of this exclusive island getaway, the Anguilla Tourist Board partnered with photographer Bill Boyd to shoot the site’s stunning photography. Rotating imagery maximizes the experience without visiting a photo gallery. For media, there is a greatly enhanced photo library offering, with a link to more than 1,500 images that bring the island to life and complete the Anguilla story.

The ATB has also introduced three new collaterals for trade and consumers. Their destination brochure has been redone, and reflects their laid back, island luxury. The new layout, beautiful imagery and copy tell the Anguilla story and how visitors can truly experience it.

They have also created a romance brochure, designed for lovers of all ages. Along with, of course, information on getting married in Anguilla, as the island is consistently at the top of the list for honeymoon and destination wedding hot spots.

To round out their new collaterals, they have created a new Charming Escapes Collection brochure depicting their authentic Anguillian accommodations at an assortment of small hotels and guest houses that dot the island.
