American Eagle Airlines Launches Service Between Miami International Airport and La Romana, Dominican Republic

MIAMI – American Eagle Airlines, the regional affiliate of American Airlines, announced today it will launch daily nonstop service to the La Romana International Airport (LRM) from Miami International Airport (MIA), beginning April 5. The new service will be operated with 50-seat ERJ-145 jet aircraft.

“La Romana, the official airport for Casa de Campo, has always been popular with our Miami travelers,” said Peter Dolara, American’s Senior Vice President based in Miami. “We are pleased to offer our customers more options to visit this Caribbean paradise.”

Casa de Campo, one of the Dominican Republic’s premier resorts, is a world-famous destination renowned for its luxury hotel rooms and villas, variety of world-class facilities, cuisine and award-winning golf courses.

“We are delighted that American Eagle has decided to launch daily service to our Casa de Campo /La Romana Airport,” said Claudio Silvestri, President and CEO of Premier Resorts and Hotels, the management company for Casa de Campo.
