Air Jamaica to celebrate 40th Anniversary Thanksgiving Service in South Florida

MIRAMAR – April 1, 1969 Air Jamaica’s first flight—a twin-jet DC-9 with around 90 passengers and crew—departed the Norman Manley International Airport for Miami. This signaled the beginning of Air Jamaica’s 40-year legacy as the National Carrier, connecting Jamaica to the world.

On Sunday, April 26 at 4:00 p.m., at the Christway Baptist Church, 3800 South Douglas Road, Miramar, the Air Jamaica family is inviting the community to join them at a special Thanksgiving Service to mark their 40th Anniversary.
