Air Jamaica enjoys bumper summer season

KINGSTON, Jamaica – Air Jamaica is boasting a remarkable summer season with increased passenger loads in July over the corresponding period last year, and strong advance bookings for August.

The airline reports that for July this year, it has experienced a system wide load factor of over 80 percent. In fact, this was topped by the New York, Philadelphia, Baltimore/Washington and Bonaire routes which had load factors of 90 percent or better. July was a solid month for Air Jamaica, as the airline flew over 200,000 passengers, a 9% increase over July 2006.

“The summer so far has been incredible which is due in large measure to our loyal customers and frequent flyers who always continue to support the airline. We wish to thank them for their support and assure them we are working to continuously enhance the airline’s unparalleled Lovebird Hospitality.
