Haitian Women of Miami 17th Annual Fundraising Event to Benefit FAN M Programs and Services
MIAMI – FANM/ Haitian Women of Miami will be holding its 17th Annual Spirit of Justice Fundraising Reception on Friday, March 20th, 2009 at KARU&Y Miami Restaurant and Lounge (71 NW 14th Street, Miami) starting at 6pm with a cocktail reception.
This year’s event comes at a very difficult time for FANM. Demands are higher than ever while resources dwindle. FANM/ Haitian Women of Miami are asking that you donate Your Dinner to support FANM’s mission. This means that 100% of the funds you donate will directly benefit the programs and services of FANM. The organization’s goal is to raise funds at a minimal cost, thus allowing us to maximize our resources used to serve the needs of immigrant families in Miami. In lieu of a fundraising awards dinner and mega production, they will host a thank you reception at KARU&Y from 6-10pm on March 20th, 2009 to thank our contributors.
The event is made possible from generous contributions made by supporters and community leaders such as the Health Foundation of South Florida, Commissioner Katy Sorenson, Commissioner Barbara Jordan, Commissioner Audrey Edmonson, American Airlines, Kurzban, Kurzban, Weinger and Tetzeli P.A., Southern Wine and Spirit of South Florida , Macy’s, Gatehouse Management, Island TV, KARU&Y Miami Restaurant and Lounge.
