Tobago Welcomes Inaugural Delta Flight
TOBAGO, West Indies – Travelers from the United States can now fly directly to the beautiful island of Tobago and by-pass the previously required stop-over and possible overnight in Trinidad.
Delta launched weekly non-stop service from the Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport in Atlanta to Crown Point International Airport in Tobago on Saturday, December 15, 2007.
The historic, fully-booked flight landed seamlessly on the tarmac where travelers were greeted with open arms and Tobagonian hospitality.
“This very important addition to airlift options reflects the Tobago House of Assembly’s commitment to our rapidly growing market in Tobago,” said Neil Wilson, Tobago House of Assembly Tourism Secretary. “This new Delta service allows us to introduce the beauty, warmth and hospitality of Clean, Green and Serene Tobago to travelers in the United States.”
