The Under 40 Group to partner with Feeding South Florida in an effort to end hunger throughout South Florida

MIAMI – The Under40 Group unites young business professionals from all aspects of corporate America with a common goal – to succeed and strive in a business world. The group is made up of young professionals, under 40, who meet in a social setting to network, brainstorm and develop relationships and ideas. The objective of the group is to not only network but also empower, and with quarterly workshops and a planned annual national convention, set for 2015, they are on their way to successfully achieving the group’s mission.

During the month of September, Action Hunger Month, The Under40 Group has partnered with Feeding South Florida with a goal to feed and positively impact 1 million South Floridians. To kick-off the movement, The Under40 Group has organized two fundraising/networking events. The first will take place at the trendy Ft Lauderdale sushi bar, Tokyo Blue, on September 18th, followed by their Miami event hosted at the
recently opened, Midtown restaurant, Prohibition on September 25th. Both events will feature live music, food, drinks and networking, all with a common goal to raise money impacting one million strong.

The events start at 6pm and end at 10pm. Members will receive a complimentary cocktail upon paid admission as well as specials on hors d’oeuvres for the duration of the event. The evening’s soundtrack will be provided by BET/103.5FM’s DJ Mad Linx.
