A New Cadre Of Jazz Artists To Set The Stage At The Caribbean Marketplace At The Little Haiti Cultural Complex

MIAMI – Blend the jazz fusion harmonies of double bass player Curtis Lundy, and pianist Danny Mixon, along with the soulful melodies of featured  Jazz singer, Carole Ann Taylor and you have a night of jazz and fusion that will take place on Saturday, April 4, 2015 at the Caribbean Marketplace located within the Little Haiti Cultural Complex (5925 NE 2nd Ave, Miami, FL 33137).

The night consists of a potent mixture of jazz, fusion and spoken word and is being hosted by Sugar Push Productions. Sponsors include the City of Miami, Miami-Dade County,WDNA Jazz Radio, Greater Miami Convention and Visitor’s Bureau Multicultural Department ,Miami Club Rum and The Laureum Group.

A vibrant arts and cultural scene continues to be woven throughout the  Caribbean Marketplace.

The Caribbean Marketplace,considered a cultural marker is located in the Little Haiti Cultural Complex. This special 9,500-square-foot space is a modern replica of Haiti’s famous Iron Market, an architectural marvel designed by famed architect Charles Pawley. After undergoing a lengthy renovation to transform this cultural gem into a community staple for unique arts and crafts, Caribbean culture, special events, and community events, the Caribbean Marketplace is a vibrant addition to the Little Haiti Cultural Complex.
