PLANTATION – Victoria Mutual Building Society Florida Office is set to host a Financial Empowerment Workshop, slated for Saturday, July 20th, 2013; 11:00a.m. – 1:00p.m., at the Sheraton Suites Plantation Hotel, 311 N. University Drive, in Plantation.
During the advent of the recent recession in the economy, this has left many families displaced in one way or another by their lack of knowledge in creating and maintaining wealth.
Research indicates that every growing economy do experience peaks and troughs in the economic life-cycle. But, how can we as a people in the growing Jamaica Diaspora prepare for these eventualities?
Victoria Mutual Building Society’s(VMBS) goal is to empower and educate the community at this Workshop. Mrs. Tanya Ragbeer, Certified Professional, Personal, Business & Motivational Coach, Coaching with Tanya, will lead and present on the following objectives:
1) how to change the thought processes around self and money
2) promote responsibility for personal financial direction
3) creating confidence in making financial decisions
