USA3000 Airlines reinstates Summer Flights from Bermuda to Baltimore

HAMILTON, Bermuda – USA3000 Airlines will resume direct service from Bermuda’s L.F. Wade International Airport to Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport.

Service from Bermuda to Baltimore will resume on June 11th, 2009 and will extend through the summer to August 16th, 2009. Afternoon flights arriving in Bermuda will depart in the early evening for a return trip to Baltimore. Flights are scheduled on Thursdays and Sundays for the duration of the season. All flights will be serviced by a state-of-the-art Airbus A320 aircraft, and one-way fares start as low as $99.99*.

USA3000 ceased its Bermuda service for the duration of the 2008-2009 winter season, but is gearing up for this reinstated service in the summer 2009 season. “We recognized a very real interest in the Baltimore-Bermuda flight from our passengers. The summer vacation season is an opportune time for us to return to such an important and popular route,” said USA3000 CEO, Steve Harfst.

Airline executives have worked closely with the Bermuda Department of Tourism and with the L. F. Wade International Airport to ensure the leisure route would be reinstated. Premier of Bermuda Dr. Ewart F. Brown, who is also Minster of Tourism and Transport, said: “USA 3000 has been a critical component in our commitment to increased competition and lower prices for air travelers, particularly for vacationers who want to take the short trip to our pink sand beaches. We couldn’t be more pleased to have USA 3000 back as an air travel partner.”
