US Airways makes travel to St. Vincent and the Grenadines more convenient

US Airways customers now can experience the charm of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, via new nonstop service from San Juan on GoCaribbean codeshare partner Caribbean Sun Airlines.

Caribbean Sun operates the new nonstop service using Turbo Prop aircrafts. Flights depart from San Juan’s Luis Munoz Marin International Airport to St. Vincent’s ET Joshua Airport four times a week, giving travelers flexible choices and ample time to connect in Puerto Rico.

The flight time is two and a half hours, with flights to St. Vincent operating Thursday through Sunday and return flights Friday through Monday. Partnering with US Airways, Caribbean Sun’s new nonstop service from Puerto Rico is easily accessible from the U.S., making single-ticket travel to St. Vincent and the Grenadines easier and more convenient than ever.

St. Vincent, the largest, greenest and most mountainous island in the chain, offers a breathtaking array of sights and activities, from the towering volcano La Soufrière to the island’s black-sand beaches and lush rainforests. Visitors can enjoy hiking, scuba diving and sailing, as well as the laid-back nightlife. South of St. Vincent, the Grenadine Islands are strung across 40 miles of intense blue ocean. With stunning white sand beaches, coral reefs and flowered hillsides spilling down to tranquil harbors, the Grenadine Islands recall a Caribbean of long ago.

Caribbean Sun Airlines and its sister airline, Caribbean Star Airlines, serve 17 of the most beautiful island destinations in the Caribbean.
