U.S. Ambassador to Jamaica says Goodbye

KINGSTON, Jamaica – Former U.S. Ambassador to Jamaica Brenda LaGrange Johnson ended her tour of duty on January 20, after three years posting at Embassy Kingston.

Before her departure, she met with officials of the Government of Jamaica and key representatives of the public and private sectors. At a townhall meeting hosted by staff to bid her farewell, Ambassador Johnson noted that her job at Embassy Kingston was the ‘best in the world’. She thanked members of staff for their love and support during her tenure.
