Thanksgiving is the holiday of thankfulness; Happy Thanksgiving from South Florida Caribbean News
CORAL SPRINGS – Thanksgiving is the holiday of thankfulness, of warmth, and of togetherness. This past year has been good to us here at South Florida Caribbean News, and we are thankful for many things. We are especially thankful for your patronage and for allowing us to be of service to you.
During this wonderful holiday, let us remember that, as much has been given us, much will be expected from us. Let us also remember that thankfulness comes not only from the heart or from the lips, but shows itself in deeds.
This year the Management Team of South Florida Caribbean News had the privilege of supporting a number of non-profit organizations such as,
• United Hands, Inc. (www.unitedhandsinc.org) – Preventative health care to underprivileged communities
• SOS Children’s Village – Florida (www.sosflorida.com) – Support services for foster children who have no imminent plan for adoption or reunification with their birth families
• Prints of Hope (www.printsofhope.org) – Humanitarian aid to underprivileged communities
• 100 Black Men of Greater Fort Lauderdale (www.100blackmengfl.org) – Mentoring & Educational programs for African/Caribbean American youth
This Thanksgiving holiday season South Florida Caribbean News would like to highlight the 100 Black Men of Greater Fort Lauderdale.
