St. Kitts and Nevis PM Douglas congratulates Trinidad and Tobago counterpart
BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – St. Kitts and Nevis has joined Caribbean and World Leaders in wishing the Government and citizens of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago on the occasion of their Forty-Eighth Anniversary of Independence.
“As you celebrate this landmark occasion in the history of your country, let me take this opportunity to recognize Trinidad and Tobago’s well established ties with the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis,” Prime Minister Hon. Dr. Denzil L. Douglas said in congratulatory message to his Trinidad and Tobago counterpart, the Hon. Kamla Persad- Bissesar.
Dr. Douglas told the Trinidad and Tobago Prime Minister that St. Kitts and Nevis and Trinidad and Tobago over the years “have enjoyed mutually beneficial relations based on collaboration and respect on the regional and international stage, and it is my ardent wish that this bond will be further cemented.”
“In celebrating with the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, let me also express my best wishes for your wellbeing and prosperity and that of your citizens as you truly aspire and achieve, together,” Prime Minister Douglas said in his message.
